The 13 kA-current 3646 with inverter technology and watercooled trafo gun is the new professional inverter resistance welding systems from TECNA, capable to weld all kind of steel bodies (AUTOMOTIVE), including whatever type of high-strength steel and galvanized sheets, no matter what the composition of the layers is, no matter what the shape of the body is.

The mid-frequency inverter together with the “C” FAST TRAFO-GUN 450 daN with builtin water-cooled transformer and electrodes, make the operator able to do his job quickly and with the highest precision and reliability. Moreover, the combination of the inverter and the “C” FAST TRAFO-GUN allows the unit to be equipped with 4 meters-long cables thus providing for a large reach from the equipment body. This feature helps the professional perform a quick and comfortable job all around the vehicle to repair.

The TE40t digital control unit allows easy, quick and safe operations thanks to its set of useful features for the operator to use the welder choosing amongst a number of preset welding programs for all kind of materials including the latest generation high-strength steel.
Adjustment of welding parameters like spark time (in msec.), display of the real welding current, pulse and automatic compensation, are amongst the functions of the TE40t; the user can automatically adjust the welding parameters according to the arm chosen, the materials to weld and the thickness of the sheets.

The 3646 HSS welding system include all the features that made TECNA leading spot welder manufacturer in the world:

- Automatic recall of relevant stored welding programs.

- USB port for upgrades and exchange of welding data with external PC
